Waxy O'Connors Now Open in Woburn
After a long process Waxy's has opened in the old Spuds location.
The saga of Waxy O'Connor's has finally ended and the location is now open for business.
The traditional Irish pub had been making promises to the city about opening since November of 2012 and last week it finally opened its doors at the old Spuds restaurant location.
As reported on Woburn Patch, the city's Licensing Commission issued an ultimatum last November—open by January or you lose your liquor license.
Fortunately that was avoided and the pub was allowed to open.
According to the restaurant's web site, Waxy's offers a wide variety of drinks and pub staples such as appetizers, sandwiches and burgers. There are also full dinners, soups and salads.
Waxy's is open from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Needs a little work on food but waiter and manager were very receptive to feedback.
