Weekend Events: Blood Drive, Recycling

Give blood at Spence Farm today.

 
  • A recycling drive will be held today, Saturday, Dec. 17, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall. Join Alderman Richard Gately to recycle your old tires, batteries, mercury switches and Halogen light bulbs.
  • A blood drive will be held today, Saturday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spence Farm, 41 Wyman Street. The drive is sponsored by the Woburn Agricultural Society.
  • The Living History Guild Singers will perform at the Historical Society's Burdett Mansion on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. The singers are Clare Hurley (vocals), Darlene Wigton (guitar, vocals), Donna Nagle (guitar, recorder, vocals) and Maureen Vallis (bodhran, vocals).
