What Would You Like to See at Anchor Glass?
What is your vision for this vacant building?
The former Anchor Glass & Mirror location on Main Street has been vacant for quite some time.
The 1,162 square-foot space at 546 Main St., is at the intersection of Main and Plympton streets. While it's been empty, it has served as a spot for utility workers to park their vehicles and Woburn Police to monitor traffic.
On its website, Carbone Realty says the property is for either sale or rent. It is currently zoned "S1," which means it can be used for office or mixed-use.
So, we want to know—what would you like to go at this location? Does a small bargain store make sense? How about a mom and pop shop? Or would you rather see it become something else?

It's a difficult spot. Some kind of business that could be supported by foot traffic rather than car traffic would be ideal...I'm not sure what that would be, though. An independent coffee shop, maybe?

Hi Danielle, why do the comments not fall under the story. I see some, but they are in the recent comments section on the front page. What happened

Hi Joe! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm investigating and will have our Tech team look into it, as well!

I love to see Woburn have it's own little used bookshop.
