Got to agree here Susan. I've nearly been hit a few times. Not only do people coming out of Buttaro not stop at that sign, they don't even give a glance to the left.
ALSO.....The Main St/ 128 rotary is the worst for drivers not yielding before entering and then not knowing how to properly drive around a rotary! I've never seen any check points or cruisers there to keep an eye on things.

The stop at Campbell and Montvale ia TOO far back, my son was stopped there a couple weeks ago. He DID stop, but not at the line, he stopped where EVERYONE else does, where Campbell actually meets Monttvale and you can SEE.

Agreed but no excuse for everyone who ignores the 3-way STOP at Campbell and Wade...it's a disaster!

Here, here, D. That isn't a stop sign intersection, but it might be on the top 5 of bad intersections just due to the volume of traffic. I keep my hand positioned just above the horn whenever I'm first in line and the light changes. If any intersection needs heavily targeted enforcement, that's it. They also ought to paint cross-hatching across that intersection to emphasize that it's there (like NYC's "don't block the box" intersections).

At the second set of the double lights (the lights right at 38)... it's not a stop sign, but that red arrow sure gets ignored all the time. Anytime I see someone waiting for the green, it's only a matter of seconds before people start laying on their horns.

dgobs, there seems to be some disagreement on the internet about the law for red right turn arrows in MA. Summarizing one discussion I've seen: The RMV driver's manual says to treat it as a red circle (OK to go after a full stop and no oncoming traffic); some municipal codes say it means no turning for as long as the arrow is red; and the Mass. state law appears to be silent on the issue. I treat them as a regular red light, and proceed after stopping if all's clear. If the person in front of me stops and stays put, I might tap the horn, but unless I'm having a rotten day I try to let it go, since so many people seem to think it means stay stopped.
