Its not a speeding area, but how about cracking down on the Arlington Road, N.Warren st, Warren st intersection? everyone runs the lights, the City could make thousands there!

Lexington St. (a State road) between the Fire Station at Willow St. and the bend at Burlington St., is the worst I know of. Going west, drivers accelerate naturally because of the steep downward slope. And heading east drivers get to the top of that same slope and accelerate to make up lost time. There is one stretch where the posted speed limit is 25 mph; but cars fly by at 50 or more. I've never seen police pull cars over here, probably because the road is narrow and it would be dangerous. But a well-placed, portable sign like we have in some spots around the city might slow drivers down. Check it out.

People pretty much speed everywhere there's a break between traffic lights. Main St., from Salem to Kilby, Kilby to Mishawum. Winn St between the Center and Kilby. The 38 Rotary...it seems there's at least 1 accident every week from someone's failure to yield or failure to notice that the car in front of them is yielding.

Salem Street, for sure! I'd like to start a campaign to reduce speeds on this road. It's posted at 35 mph but people regularly drive 40+. Kids have to cross it to get to the elementary and high school. It's simply unsafe.

I agree with Bob – Lexington St. though the other end from the Lexington line through the Reeves School. On both sides of the road, people are always speeding but I would have to say the worst is going downhill towards the Reeves. With the newly installed radar sign before the school, it helped a bit, but I have seen it go up to 50+ miles per hour when cars fly by! Some cars slow down but most do not. I think more visible speed limit signs (one by Shannon Farm is faded.) may help. I try to be a “pace car” at the appropriate speed when traveling anywhere through Woburn and I implore other to do the same.

Arlington Road - the opposite end of the water, after Sturigus St and before Pleasant St.. My car has been totaled (parked) twice on that road due to drivers speeding :< Additionally, how about we stop the knuckle heads parking at the Sovereign bank/Church in the intersection. I mean really!? Leave your car parked in the rotatory?!

Newly surfaced Lowell Street from Wyman Street to the dead-end Lowell Street in Burlington has to be the second Route 128~~

Lowell Street for sure. I was so glad to see that it was paved, but now people are just cruising down from where it starts at the Wyman end and all the way to the Burlington line. But even in the quiet side neighborhood where I live (Millyan Rd. and Ellen Rd.). I think people are more relaxed and speed because very seldom do the police patrol the area unless called for a specific reason. Dirt-Bikers are cruising the neighborhood at very dangerous speeds, with no helmets...as well as no directional signals or break lights. It's a matter of time before someone gets really hurt.

Lexington st , near Shannon farm, and going down the hill toward reeves, I will say Woburn PD is always stopping cars in that area !!

Wyman St. by far. Motorcycles flying so fast, I can't tell the make and model.

Lowell Street for sure coming off of Wyman St - it's a straightaway and people fly down there to see if they can get airborne on the bumps. Maybe a bucket of golf balls getting dumped across the road in front of the speeding motorcycles will slow them down!! Many car and truck mirrors in the neighborhood have been taken off by speeding vehicles. We've had a truck (legally parked in front of our house) totaled by a speeding vehicle (truck ended up on our lawn - facing in the opposite direction). There have been drivers playing chicken in the middle of the night many times on the street. Lowell St and Route 128 ... is there a speed limit difference? Many years ago calls were made daily to a past mayor - we were told cars speed on all the city streets and there was nothing that could be done. Even the cars playing chicken didn't bring this mayor to take any action!
