It's something people have been debating for years—What makes the perfect man or woman?
The online dating-auction site WhatsYourPrice.com recently revealed what thousands of Bostonians consider the perfect man and woman, according to a survey conducted among its clients.
The perfect woman:
- Has red hair;
- Green eyes;
- Is a social drinker;
- Does not smoke; and
- Has both a bachelor's and master’s degree.
The perfect man:
- Earns $100,000 to $150,000 a year;
- Has a bachelor's degree;
- Has brown hair;
- Blue eyes;
- Sports an athletic build;
- Is a social drinker; and
- Doesn’t smoke.
According to Leroy Velasquez, a public relations spokesman for WhatsYourPrice.com, Boston was the only city, out of 30, to put such a high ranking on red hair for women and a man's education.

No, it doesn't... some people have such ridiculous standards. That's why they're on dating websites and not in a relationship.

Well I can make my hair red, my eyes are almost green, I don't smoke, I'm a social drinker and I have both my BA and MA. But - I don't think that is the whole story - what about our wit, compassion, strength, loyalty, etc. I think that is more important.
