The Woburn Memorial High School football squad lost its first game of the season Friday.
The Tanners were shutout 28-0 by the Acton-Boxboro Colonials in the opening game of the season for both teams, reported the Lowell Sun.
Despite the loss, the Tanners kept the Colonials scoreless in the second half.
The next football game for WMHS is Friday at Billerica Memorial High School.
