Holidays often leave trash pick-up delayed. But Monday is one of those "kind of" holidays. It's New Year's Eve, which feels like a holiday, but isn't really a holiday.

Here's what we found out from City Hall:

City Hall will be OPEN on Monday, Dec. 31 for regular business hours and trash and recycling WILL be picked up.

On Tuesday, City Hall is closed and there is no trash or recycling pick-up. Tuesday's trash is delayed one day.

Now what about those Christmas trees?

Curbside pickup of Christmas and holiday trees (no bags, no decorations) is scheduled to the held from Dec. 31, 2012 to Jan. 5, 2013, and again from Jan. 7, 2013 to Jan. 11,2013, in conjunction with neighborhood curbside pickup.
