Beacon Grille celebrates the holidays with “green” tree

WOBURN, Mass., December 13, 2012 -- Beacon Grille is “going green” in more than one way this holiday season. Continuing its tradition of decorating in a sustainable fashion, the TradeCenter 128 dining establishment will display the same recycled holiday tree for the third consecutive year.

The 16-foot tall fir balsam tree was first ornamented with lights and decorations in 2010 after being dug from the property grounds. It was replanted in its original location following the holidays. The same tree has now made its appearance on Beacon Grille’s patio each December since, spreading holiday cheer in an environmentally friendly way.

Beacon Grille will wrap up the holiday season with a very special four-course New Year’s Eve dinner. The menu, priced at $57 per person, is available at BeaconGrille.com. It was designed by Executive Chef Damian Zedower, who came to Beacon Grille last spring after serving as executive chef at “Asana” in the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston.

Ending 2012 on a sweet note, the final course will be an elaborate dessert buffet featuring a variety of treats, including chocolate covered strawberries, fresh berries with Champagne sabayon, and chocolate fondue with fresh fruit.
