WorldFest Woburn is coming up this Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. The performance schedule has been finalized as follows:
1:00 Cuban drummer Yosvany Cordero
1:20 Brazilian Capoeira
1:40 Classical Dance from India by students of Jeyanthi Ghatraju at Natyanjali
2:00 Karate - Rising Storm Training Academy
2:20 Irish Dancers - O'Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance
2:40 Brazilian Singers “Trinity”
3:00 Dance Demo “Studio 665”
3:20 Peruvian Musicians “Munassiwa”
In addition to these performers, there will be some 25 tables with food, arts and crafts, activities and much more from around the world. I wish I had time to attend WorldFest.. I have always been curious about Capoeira! Sounds like it was a big success!
