PHOTOS: WMHS Seniors Are Changing Colors

On May 16, the seniors of Woburn Memorial High School celebrated their final day of classes by sporting shirts and apparel from the colleges they will be attending next fall. The students were joined by teachers and staff who wore shirts from their alma mater.

The day was a bittersweet festivity of saying goodbye and putting an end to their four years of hard work at the high school. But, despite the feelings of nostalgia with all of the goodbyes, an undoubted sense of looking forward to the future pervaded the air.

Congratulations to all of you graduating class of 2012. As a graduate of Woburn High class of 1955, I know what a bitter sweet day it is. I have many fond memories of Woburn High and I know you will too. Congrats to all taking their education a step further. Good luck to all.
