Man Arrested After Attacking Police Officers

June 18—A 44-year-old Woburn man was arrested on several charges Sunday night after he assaulted three police officers.

 

POLICE LOG: Cartoon Used to Harass Woman

June 18—At 4:08 p.m., a Woburn woman reported her boyfriend’s ex-wife has been harassing her. According to police, a cartoon drawing was left on her car with a hand-drawn witch and the words “home-wrecking [expletive].” 

 

POLICE LOG: Witness Reports Man Fondling Self

June 19—At 4:47 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man at Weafer Park fondling himself. According to police, the caller said that a large man, possibly 6-feet, 1-inch, with a shaved head and wearing a red shirt, was standing on top of a rock looking into the playground area. The witness told police that the man had a camera phone out and appeared to have his other hand in the front area of his pants. Police were unable to find the man, but have notified all officers to monitor the area.

 

Cops to Drivers: Stop for Pedestrians [PHOTOS]

Hundreds of people cross streets in Woburn daily, especially during warm weather like this past week. But how many cars stop for pedestrians in cross walks?

In less than an hour Wednesday morning,Woburn Police officers stopped at least eight cars that failed to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

 

POLICE LOG: Woman Interrupts Mom Having Sex

June 20—At 5:15 p.m., police were called after an argument between two people. According to police, a 20-year-old woman entered a tenant’s bedroom when she heard her mother and the tenant having sex. The woman threw some boxes in frustration, telling police she did not appreciate the behavior while she was in the home. Police spoke to the couple, who agreed to a working agreement among the three parties.
