Tanners Lacrosse Earns Critical Win Over Wilmington

Woburn bounced back from an early Wildcat push and went on to a 10-6 victory to keep their playoff hopes alive.

What a difference a year makes for the Sox. The team’s hot start has 27 percent of those who took the survey predicting a World Series. Only 3 percent said the Sox will not make the playoffs. Sixty-four percent of those surveyed said Farrell is doing a good job. Only 1 percent disapproved of Farrell’s work this year. This is the lowest disapproval rating Public Policy Polling has ever seen. In comparison, in a national poll in November, Lincoln was …

The Woburn High School boys lacrosse team hung tight in the first half, but fell to a difficult foe, 14-5, on Tuesday.

Though Woburn hung with Reading in the first half, it was the Rockets who took over in the closing two quarters of boys lacrosse action on Tuesday afternoon. The Tanners trailed just 5-3 at the intermission, but the Rockets took over in the final minutes and went on to a 14-5 win. While Reading improved to 10-2 on the year, the setback dropped Woburn to 4-6 on the campaign.
