POLICE LOG: Van Broken Into and Over 1.9K in Items Stolen

Featured Incident  April 29- At 11:14 a.m. police responded to a business 10 Draper Street for a report of a breaking and entering of a company vehicle. Police spoke with the caller show shed them a 2003 GMC Safari van which had a shattered passenger window and a broken handle on the right-side door. The van had been parked in the company lot over the weekend when the damage occurred. A Cat6 Plenum cable, track jacks and patch panels worth $1,324.55 and a HP laptop worth $587 were stolen.   Other Incidents April 27- At 11:49 a.m. …

Police spoke to the homeowners who said they were watching T.V. in the living room when the window and screen were suddenly knocked out by a rock about the size of a baseball. The rock struck a wall in the house and caused a hole. The caller said he went outside and saw a male in a hooded sweatshirt standing about four houses down staring at him. Featured Incident April 25- At 11:48 a.m. police responded to the American Chinese Art Society building at 29 Montvale Avenue on a report of breaking and entering. The caller said that two males broke into the place at about 1:45 a.m. that morning and they were caught on surveillance tape. The two unidentified men gained access to the building by pushing in an air conditioner that was in a basement window. The men, both wearing masks, searched the building and went up to the second floor and attempted to enter a room when an alarm …

Incidents- April 22- At 8:25 a.m. police and emergency personnel responded to 415 Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a cyclist. The car was parked and the cyclist was passing the driver’s side door when the operator opened it, causing the female on the bicycle to collide with the door. This forced her down onto the street and caused injury. She was treated on scene and transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.   At 4:50 p.m. police responded to a Todd Road location on a report of a stolen credit card. …

Caller said when he was in the store he was approached by a white male with black hair who identified himself as "PJ" who came up to him and said they had unfinished business. The caller said he told PJ that he didn’t know him but PJ insisted he knew the caller and punched him in the jaw with a closed fist.  The caller identified a man who was with PJ but he said he didn’t know PJ but had picked him up in Woburn Center and offered him money to …

The caller said that two fraudulent charges were made to her bank credit card that day. Both charges were made at Nordstrom and totaled $1,837.65. The caller said she has the credit card in her possession and noticed the charges today when she realized she had insufficient funds. She also said that at the time of the purchases she was at a dentist appointment with her son. Police advised her of her Victim/Witness …

Featured Incident April 16- At 8:19 p.m. police responded to a Montvale Avenue residence on a report of past larceny.  Police spoke to the caller who said someone stole two television sets and two bottles of prescription drugs. Police asked the caller if he had any idea who might have done the theft and he said he did. He said he believed it was the daughter of his two friends, who he had let borrow his vehicle a while back on the condition she “stop doing drugs.” She did not stop but kept the car and the ring of keys also had a key …

She said she thinks the woman was in her apartment and stole jewelry. The items stolen included 24 karat gold engagement ring with three diamonds totaling 3 karat valued at $17,000, a thin string chain with amethyst and diamonds valued at $500, a gold chain with pearls valued at $3,000 and a s watch valued at $500…

Caller said somebody broke the front door window with what appeared to be a BB. The bottom half of the glass on the front door was shattered and there was a BB sized hole in the middle.   Other Incidents April 8- At 2:17 p.m. a man on Mishawum Road rear-ended another vehicle. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. Featured Incident April 8- At 1:29 p.m. police responded to Palmer Spring to take a report of larceny. Police spoke to the caller who said numerous items were stolen from a fenced-in area of the business. The caller showed police that the fence closest to the railroad tracks had been cut. There was also a piece of fence cut on the other side of the tracks leading up to Pine Street. Caller said he believed the break happened on Sunday when nobody was there. In total approximately $2,125 worth of items, including scrap metal, truck …
