On Sunday, June 10, 2012, at 2 PM,
Woburn Public Library volunteer Linda Olsson will present the next Community Conversation projecting
over 100 photographs from the Patrick Farino Collection. The program is free and open to all.
After identifying the photos published in
the Woburn Daily Times, we will start with softball team photos. Also featured will be Woburn High track and
cross country teams and events, 1960 Junior prom, Woburn High School activities
centered around graduation, High School Choruses, and swimming pools as well as
many others. Most photos are from the
1950’s and early 1960’s.
The audience will be encouraged to
identify what they recognize
Please call the library if handicapped
access is required.
The event is free to the public and
refreshments will be provided.
Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. and the
program will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

More About Woburn Public Library
The Woburn Public Library has served the people of Woburn since 1856. The current building was designed by library architect H.H. Richardson and was built in 1879.
The 60,000-item collection found at the Woburn Public Library includes books, videos and DVDs, audiobooks, large print books, magazines and newspapers. It is part of the Minuteman Library Network, which gives patrons access to the collections of nearly 40 other libraries and several online databases. Passes to several Boston museums are also available to library card holders.
The library sponsors several programs for children, teens and adults.
