 ce&nbsp\;volunteer.\nA hospice volunteer offers companionship\, support\
 , a helping hand to patients with terminal illnesses. No matter who you 
 are\, you have something to offer hospice patients. You can make a profo
 und difference in a person's life whether it is a 15 minute visit\, writ
 ing letters\, playing music\, or just sitting quietly\, holding a patien
 t's hand. Volunteers play an integral role in Beacon Hospice's team appr
 oach to care that focuses on comfort\, dignity and peace for the patient
  and their family.\nVolunteers must complete a comprehensive training pr
 ogram and receive on-going support. Our next training begins on Thursday
  March 1st 6-9pm at our Charlestown office. Other training times/locatio
