The Boston Red Sox, The Scoreboard, and Loren and Wally from the WROR morning show team up to start the season off right with a Live Broadcast for the Red Sox home opener. Red Sox fans are eagerly anticipating another exciting season at Fenway Park, and the Scoreboard is no exception in the mounting excitement. To jump start the season at Fenway Park the Scoreboard is hosting an event with morning show legends Loren and Wally from WROR. This unique event is a chance for fans to gather at the Scoreboard to watch their favorite radio personalities broadcast live from their favorite place to watch the Red Sox, (outside of Fenway that is). General Manager, Frank Vento comments, “this is a great way to bring together the Scoreboard fans and the fans of the Loren and Wally show to celebrate a life long devotion to the Red Sox.” “We plan to show these fans that not only are we the #1 Sports Bar in the Boston area which host exciting events, we are also a place that is open in the morning for breakfast.” The Scoreboard came to the area two years ago and took the area by storm. The North of Boston area has yet to see a place that provides a place that celebrates sports and entertainment where friends and family can gather in an environment that exudes Boston Pride. Promotions Manager, Lauren Fabbrucci is excited to mention that this is the perfect event to showcase that “WE SERVE BREAKFAST TOO!” “Many people have come to know us for a place to meet after work and to gather with friends for sports and live music in the evening, however very few people know that we have a full breakfast buffet for $10.95 served seven days a week!” On Friday, April 13th friends and fans will gather at the Scoreboard to see the Scoreboard’s offerings of waffles, French toast, bacon, eggs, fresh pasties and fruit, healthy breakfast items, including cereal and oatmeal, and most importantly omelets made to order. Also during the Loren and Wally Broadcast the first 105 guests will receive custom Loren and Wally T-Shirts. The new Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill features a fully stocked bar and friendly servers dressed in referee uniforms. The restaurant is decorated with sports memorabilia honoring Boston teams. There are booths, tables and seats at the bar, with access to two 92-inch projection TVs, four 65-inch plasma-screen TVs and two 50-inch plasma-screen TVs. No matter where one is seated in the restaurant, the game is always on and always in line of sight.
Scoreboard's menu is full of American favorites, including appetizers like potato skins and chicken tenders, chicken wings in five different flavors, nachos, burgers, hot dogs and steaks.
Tuesdays feature live trivia; Wednesdays, 25-cent wings and acoustic music; Thursdays, karaoke; Fridays and Saturdays, live entertainment. A separate lounge and dining area has a stage for events. Scoreboard is also a Fantasy Football Draft Headquarters. The restaurant has free Wi-Fi so customers can simultaneously watch the game and (attempt to) get work done.
