DESCRIPTION:From the library's website:\nThe Scrabble Club meets on Monda
 y afternoons from 3:30&mdash\;4:30 p.m. during the school year. Students
  in grades 4-8 play against one another\, and may opt to compete in loca
 l and regional tournaments. In April\, teams are chosen to compete in th
 e National SCRABBLE Tournament.\nInterested students sign up in Septembe
 r and attend practice sessions every week. Students play in pairs accord
 ing to School Scrabble rules\, and may also practice timed bouts\, to ge
 t ready for bigger tournaments. Tip sheets\, Scrabble dictionaries\, and
  an electronic game dictionary are available\, and adult coaches help pl
 ayers learn the skills needed to play at the top of their form. Games ra
 nge from fast and furious mini-challenges to full games. Drop-ins are we
 lcome to try their skills\, but be on time because teams are assigned at
  3:30 p.m.
