 WHAT: Looking for a way to keep kids entertained during the dog days of summer? Rock climbing is a fun and challenging activity for children and offers both physical and mental health benefits. This summer, the Boston Rock Gym (BRG) located in Woburn, MA is offering an exciting alternative to traditional summer camps with its diverse range of climbing programs designed to build climbing skills in children of all ages and all skill levels. By learning what it takes to be a successful rock climber, kids can reach new heights in all aspects of their lives, not just on the climbing wall. 
All of Boston Rock Gym’s summer programs are led by expert climbers in small groups to ensure safety and instill a spirit of cooperation and teamwork amongst students. From June 25th to August 31st, kids 10 and up will have an opportunity for an unforgettable week of all-day climbing adventures with an Outdoor Climbing Camp, where they will travel to some of the most abundant climbing destinations in New England with the area’s most accomplished rock climbing professionals. If parents are looking for less of a commitment, BRG also offers daily two-hour Kids Climb Classes where experienced instructors will belay children and encourage them to advance their skills, as well as Private Belays. Kids Climb Classes offer the most convenient and flexible way for kids to learn lifelong skills and stay active on rainy summer days! With low rates of $25 per hour (2 hour minimum) and special rates for those who sign up for more than one class at a time, this opportunity is too good to pass up! Classes are offered Monday-Friday from June 25th to August 31st so sign up today!Climbing helps kids to develop muscular endurance and strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and focus. It also teaches teamwork, responsibility and trust through belaying, as well as self-confidence and motivation. When children are climbing it is just them and the wall, and they will develop valuable life skills and learn to overcome fear and stress. Don’t let your kids waste their summer away.
