Join us for a 5k walk and run around Lake Quannapowitt to raise awareness for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Help to keep our children and communities safe, while having fun!
At the walk there will be food, entertainment, and games for kids and families. NECN Morning Show's Steve Aveson will host the event, and AMP Radio 103.0 will be blasting tunes on the common. This is going to be an uplifting and fun day for the entire family with a message to prevent drunk driving and save lives!
Volunteers are still needed to help plan this event, as well as on the day-of the event to help out logistically. Please contact MADD Mass. offices if you are interested in volunteering!

More About Lake Quannapowitt
Lake Quannapowitt, a 275-acre shallow pond, sits just north of the center of town and just south of Route 95. Although closed for swimming, the lake and the surrounding park, playgrounds, boating ramps and gazebo provide Wakefield's residents and visitors with a place to walk, run, play and enjoy the scenery.
