City Council Holds Tuesday Meeting

1. Happening Tuesday: Woburn City Council meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night inside City Hall Council Chamber. Also meeting on the day is the Woburn Public Library Board of Trustees at 5:30 p.m. inside Crowne Plaza.

2. Senior Events: There are a pair of activities happening Tuesday at the Senior Center. Woburn senior citizens are invited to Scrapbooking Group and Senior Singers on the day.

3. Tanners in Action: A trio of Woburn High School teams are in action on Tuesday. The field hockey team hits the road in Reading at 3:30 p.m., the cross country teams race in Belmont at 3:45 p.m. and the volleyball team hits the hardwood in Arlington at 4 p.m.

4. Sunny Tuesday: According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will rise all the way to 75 degrees on Tuesday in Woburn. Skies will be sunny and there will be a gentle breeze present.
