Multiple Sclerosis Summer Fundraiser at American Legion Tonight

1) Slight chance of afternoon showers 

Looks like a mostly clear day with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Otherwise mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 55.

2) Movies for seniors 

The Woburn Senior Center is holding a movie showing at 10 a.m. today. 

3) Vodka tasting 

Busa Wine & Spirits is holding a tasting of Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka starting at 4 p.m. Deep Eddy is column-distilled in a temperature-perfect environment and uses the "finest water in Texas." It also goes through a charcoal filter 4 times. 

4) Multiple Sclerosis Summer Fundraiser

There will be a benefit to support Multiple Sclerosis at the American Legion at 6:30 p.m. The benefit will include music played by the local band "Every Other Thursday." There will be pizza donated by several local establishments and raffles donated by several local businesses.
