Senior Events Scheduled for Wednesday, Tanners Get Ready for Season

1. Happening Wednesday: Three senior citizen events are scheduled for Wednesday in Woburn. A "Senior Issues" breakfast and discussion group begins at 9:45 a.m., Diabetic Support Group at 12 p.m. and Exercise With Marlene at 12:30 p.m., all inside the Senior Center.

2. Preseason Over: No more scrimmages. As of this weekend the games will actually count for the Tanners. The regular season kicks off for many teams on Saturday with a host of games. Head over to USA Today High School Sports to check out when the local teams are in action.

4. Sunny in Woburn: According to the National Weather Service, there will be nothing but sunny skies on Wednesday. Temperatures will reach about 81 degrees on the day.
