Tanners Back Under Friday Night Lights Versus Burlington
Here are five things to kick off your Friday in Woburn.
1. Two in a Row?: Fresh off of its comeback win to open the season, the Woburn High School football team travels to Burlington at 7 p.m. on Friday in hopes of pulling off another victory to improve to 2-0 on the campaign.
2. More Tanners: In addition to football, other Woburn High School teams play on Friday as well. The field hockey team plays Winchester at 3:30 p.m. and the girls volleyball team plays at Elk Lake at 4 p.m.
3. Sunny Friday: According to the National Weather Service, skies will be sunny to close out the week. Temperatures are likely to spike to 78 degrees on Friday and rain is unlikely.
4. Senior Fair: The Woburn Senior Center hosts its Fall Festival Open House and Health Fair. The event kicks off Friday at 9 a.m. on School Street.
5. ICYMI: In case you missed it, Mahoney's Garden Center was recently broken into, according to a report by the Woburn Police Department.
