Tanners Hit the Pitch and Hardwood on Wednesday

1. Tanner Time: The Woburn High School boys varsity soccer team travels to Burlington on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. Also in action is the Tanner girls volleyball team at home beginning at 4 p.m. and the girls soccer team, which hosts Burlington at 5 p.m.

2. Senior Issues: The Senior Issues breakfast and discussion group is scheduled for Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. inside the Senior Center, while Exercise With Marlene takes place in the same location at 12:30 p.m.

3. Hot, Hot, Hot: Hope you didn't put your summer clothes away just yet. Temperatures are likely to reach 92 degrees on Wednesday in Woburn, according to the National Weather Service. Skies are expected to be sunny throughout.
