Woburn Cancer Patient Meets Former NE Patriot Joe Andruzzi

Today is Tuesday, July 23. Here are five things to know: 

1) Showers and possible thunderstorm 

Looks like we could get some wet weather today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect showers and a possibility of thunderstorms. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 80 degrees.

2) Woburn cancer patient joins Joe Andruzzi Foundation for “Codzilla Thrill Ride”

Jacob Beranger-Westgage of Woburn and his family met with former New England Patriot, three-time Super Bowl Champion and cancer survivor Joe Andruzzi before boarding the “Codzilla Thrill Ride.” The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (Up) Beat event gave cancer patients and survivors the opportunity to step away from cancer treatments and challenging times to meet Andruzzi. 3) Looking for work? How about driving a cab? 

Checker Cab of Woburn is looking for a few good drivers. Applicants must be over 21, have a clean driving record. No DUI's and no drugs. 

4) Volunteer for Meals on Wheels 

Meals on Wheels is looking for drivers to deliver meals to home-bound seniors. Volunteers can do as little as two hours per month. See the details.
