3 Local Woburn Boys Travel to Disney World to receive the prestigious Pop Warner All-America Scholar Award

Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner student athletes compete for Academic All-American status. This process begins at the association level and up through each of the eight Pop Warner regions to the NATIONAL level.

This year Pop Warner was pleased to announce that nearly 8,900 participants were selected as All-American Scholars across the country. As many were selected from Woburn MA, Justin Mullaney, Ryan Chillemi, and Zachary Carter choose to attend the Pop Warner All-American Scholar Tribute this past weekend at Disney's Yacht Club Resort in Orlando, FL.

The Pop Warner All-American Program requires a minimum 96% grade point average to apply. After the applications have been processed, Pop Warner determines National First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention Scholars.  These 3 young student athletes all cleared a 100% GPA for 2013-2014 season.

Huge congratulations to these young men and all the Woburn student athletes chosen for this prestigious recognition.  Academics prove once again, it is the key to success!
