Council of Social Concern Parenting Education Sessions

Family Skill Building - Active Parenting Session

Council of Social Concern is offering a series of Active Parenting Sessions for parents of children ages 1 to 12 years.  The sessions will feature topics that include discipline methods, routines, how to prevent tantrums, defusing power struggles and the importance of caring for the caregiver.  Through the use of videos, activities and group discussions, the group leader will help you learn important skills for parenting.

The Tuesday Evening sessions will run for 7 Consecutive weeks from February 4, 2014 through March 18, 2014, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Sign up by January 28th to be eligible.

 There is a $10.00 refundable registration fee which will be refunded upon completion of all seven sessions.  Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.
