Winchester Co-operative Bank Supports Local Elders

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. recently received a $900 grant from Winchester Co-operative Bank.  Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) will use these generous funds to supplement the cost of nutritious meals for low-income elders.  Dedicated to serving the community, Winchester Co-operative Bank supports local seniors and the needs of low-income populations.

CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization based in Lexington, with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord.  CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week.  The mission of CESI is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by promoting health and independence, and enhancing the quality of life for elders living in the community.  To schedule a visit or find out more information, contact Katrina Zinger at 781-270-5751 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
