Who was Charles H. Moloy?
Who was Charles H. Moloy? His name is on the inscription of a statue in Woburn center...
Throughout Woburn Center you will find several memorials and statues recognizing the men and women who faithfully served our country. On my walk around the center, I snapped a picture of one and was curious as to the history of this statue. The inscription at the base read "PRESENTED TO THE CITY OF WOBURN BY CHARLES H. MOLOY CAMP 42 UNITED STATES SPANISH WAS VETERANS AND PATRIOTIC CITIZENS TO HONOR THE MEN WHO SERVED IN THE WAR WITH SPAIN PHILIPPINE INSURRECTION AND THE CHINA RELIEF EXPEDITION 1898-1902 DEDICATED NOV. 11, 1934"
In a search on the internet, I found a Charles H. Moloy from Woburn who was killed in action on Oct 6, 1918. I also found another entry for a Charles H. Moloy who lived on Elijah st. Having not been around in the early 1900's I need your help :) Who was Charles H. Moloy? Feel free to add any information about this man in the comments section.
