Bob was diagnosed with colon cancer in June, 2009. He underwent surgery to have the cancer removed, but in August the doctors found that it had spread to his liver. In October of the same year, he had 60% of his liver removed. In March of 2010, he was given a clean bill of health and he was able to return back to work. By the fall of 2010, the cancer had spread to his lungs and his liver; he was told he would be on chemo therapy for the rest of his life.

Bob has been a Master Mason for 27 years at Simonds Lodge in Burlington, a member of the Order of Eastern Star for 25 years, and a member of St. Mark’s Church in Burlington.  A dedicated and hard worker for all his life, Bob is no longer able to earn a living.
