Give Back This Holiday Season in Woburn

In celebration of a new tradition, "Giving Tuesday," Patch offers this list of places that are accepting donations or volunteers.

First there was Black Friday, then there was Cyber Monday. Now there is a movement to create a new holiday called “Giving Tuesday.”

Celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, the event encourages people to support nonprofit organizations through charitable activities at the start of the holiday season.

• Throughout the year, the Woburn Council of Social Concern food pantry helps those in need. Donations are always welcome.
