Pension Battle, Mayoral Election Are Year's Top Stories in Woburn

As 2013 comes to a close, we look at the most popular Woburn stories of the last year.

From politics to business stories, there were plenty of articles that most captured the attention of Woburn Patch readers this year.

Readers passionately debated the mayoral race between Scott Galvin and John Flaherty, while a Boston Globe article brought the spotlight on the race outside of Woburn as well. 

Another hot topic throughout the year was the pension package, which has not yet been agreed upon, for injured Woburn Police Officer Robert DeNapoli.

There were plenty of other stories that appear on the most read list from the last 365 days, including the opening of Strega Prime and the search for a missing person at Horn Pond.
