School Cafeteria Manager Needs Your Help

The beloved cafeteria manager of Malcolm White Elementary School is battling leukemia.

Members of the Malcolm White Elementary School community are coming together this week to help a beloved staff member.

Marge Bradley, the cafeteria manager, recently left her position so that she could devote her time to battling leukemia. And although everyone misses her, parents, teachers and friends are coming together this Saturday to help her.

A celebration and benefit dinner will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Sons of Italy Hall, 168 Lexington St., from 6 to 11 p.m. The event is adults only.

Peter Mamakos, owner of The Restaurant, and Frannie's Restaurant in Winchester is donating a full pasta dinner, salad, rolls and dessert. A donation of $20 is requested.

There will be music (provided by DJ Chris Stevens), a cash bar and raffle.

Donations are gratefully accepted. For donations, information or ticket sales please contact Tina Pecina at (781) 454-6293 / tinapecina@aol.com or Eric Stark at (781) 937-8242 / estark@woburnpublicschools.com.

A fund has been established and monetary donations may be made in the form of checks payable to Marge Bradley c/o Northern Bank and Trust Company, 275 Mishawum Road, Woburn MA / (781) 937-5400.  Checks may also be made payable to Marge Bradley and mailed to the Malcolm White Elementary School, 60 Bow St., Woburn MA, ATTN: Mr. Stark.

The address for the Malcolm White Elementary School listed above is incorrect. The correct address is 36 Bow St., not 60 Bow St.
