Two Meetings Set for Thursday and Seniors Learn About Technology

Five things to start your Thursday in Woburn.

1. Happening Thursday: A pair of meetings are on the docket for Thursday. The Housing Authority holds a 6:30 p.m. meeting in the Spring Court Extension Community Room while the Woburn Hurld/Wyman School Building Committee holds its own session at 4 p.m. inside the City Hall Engineers Conference Room.

2. Seniors & Technology: On Thursday at 11 a.m., the Woburn Senior Center hosts a course called How Technology Benefits Seniors, allowing participants to take in a variety of computer training presentations. The course is free of charge.

3. Farmers Market Closed: Don't forget, the Woburn Farmers Market is closed this Sunday for Labor Day. The market will reopen on September 8 and remain open every Sunday through October 20.

4. Missing a Dog?: Do you have a yellow lab that got loose? Check out this picture, because you may be in luck.

5. Rain Possible Thursday: According to the National Weather Service, there is a 50 percent chance or scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Temperatures will reach about 75 degrees while skies will likely be partly sunny during the day.
