Woburn Office Holds Social Media Breakfast

1. Happening Tuesday: At 8 a.m., Social Media Breakfast North Shore holds will meet in Woburn at 100 Trade Center. The event will include an interactive seminar led by marketing and public relations expert Bobbie Carlton. To read more about the event, visit the posting on Patch.

2. Also Happening: A pair of Woburn boards are meeting on Tuesday. The Woburn Retirement System meeting takes place at 8:30 a.m. inside the City Hall Engineers Conference Room. Then at 5 p.m., the Woburn Sign Review Board meets in the same room.

3. Sunshine Likely: According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, but for the most part skies will be sunny and temperatures comfortably will settle in at about 82 degrees.

4. Sports Soon: Woburn High School fall sports teams have been in action for the last week or so with tryouts and practices. But when will the first game situations play out? The answer is this week - kind of. The first Tanner scrimmages of the game will take place in upcoming days. First on Friday, the football team scrimmages at home versus Masconomet at 10 a.m. Then on Saturday, the girls soccer team hits the pitch at 8 a.m. versus Newburyport.
