As the market for office space heats up in Boston and Cambridge, companies have turned to communities along Rte. 128, including Woburn.
A study by NAI Hunneman Commercial Real Estate Services found that tech and life-sciences companies are moving out of Kendall Square and Boston's Innovation District and heading west, according to a story in the Boston Globe.
The largest number of companies, 124, signed deals in Waltham during April, May, and June. Next came Newton and Burlington, with 71 deals each, and Woburn with 43 deals, according to the story.
