Recently Opened 3rd Ave. Restaurant Beginning Lunch Hours Next Week

The Bancroft, a modern American steakhouse, opened its doors at Burlington's 3rd Ave. complex last month. Starting next week, it will have a new opening of sorts as the restaurant opens with new lunch hours.

Currently, the bar and lounge is open from 3 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. daily, in addition to dining room hours of 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Beginning on Monday, June 23, the restaurant will also be open for lunch service, while it will add brunch service beginning on Sunday, June 29.

In addition to dining for the average group of customers, The Bancroft also features catering to nearby businesses. There are also four private dining rooms in the restaurant that can accommodate groups of up to 50 guests.

"Neighbors will find the restaurant to be a perfect meeting spot to enjoy a lunch hour or a special evening meal, as well as a lively bar scene," according to a press release on the 3rd Ave. website.
