Wegmans Announces Chestnut Hill Open Date; Burlington is Next

Wegmans Food Markets announced on Tuesday that its Chestnut Hill store will have a grand opening celebration on Sunday, April 27. The 10,500 square-foot wine, beer and spirits shop part of the store, which will be on the second floor, will open on Saturday, March 29.

Despite earlier hopes that the Burlington's Wegmans may open in the spring, the company is now looking to open in the fall. A grand opening date for the Burlington location should come over the summer.

The Burlington location will be in the new 3rd Ave. project off Middlesex Turnpike. The Wegmans opening is just one of many new businesses expected to open in Burlington this year.
