Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Honors Chelmsford Quality Management Team

Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates recently honored the Chelmsford Quality Management Team with the Clinical Innovation Award. Harvard Vanguard is a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and an affiliate of Atrius Health.

The Chelmsford Quality Management Team has worked successfully to improve quality metrics by developing internal protocols that enable them to achieve success on multiple levels. The team achieved its improvement through engaging the whole department, improving workflow, holding blood pressure clinics and installing clear protocols for the medical assistants, effectively using their diabetic roster reviews with an integral role for the clinical pharmacists, and having a highly engaged population management coordinator.
