Community Update

A week... It's been a week.

So I had tried to run a few times in the last few weeks. Back was killing me more so that usual. I had old shoes. So went and bought a new pair of Brooks. Great shoes. Light, feel good and look good :) Start my run. 1 mile in same thing. Back killing me. Stop. Turn around and walk back to car feeling very discouraged.

So, I start thinking. I have put on almost 13 pounds since I got out of hospital. I can't eat any less. I try to get out and exercise, but 13 pounds. What the heck?!? MEDS!! The things to make me healthy and keep heart attacks and diabetes at bay make me gain weight. Makes sense. Take meds and watch diet to lose weight and I gain.. Nice cruel irony there huh?

In good news. My A1C was 6.1. Cholesterol 132 and ready for the big one Triglycerides down from 5000 to 108.
