5T: Baby Boot Camp, Volunteers Needed and a Warm Day

Today is Monday, March 11. Here are five things to know:

1) Mostly sunny and warm

Looks like a pretty nice day today. According to the National Weather we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 52 degrees. Mostly cloudy tonight with a low around 38.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Conservation Commission is meeting at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber - middle level of City Hall. The Woburn Golf and Ski Authority is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn Country Club.

3) E-Books at the Library

The Woburn Public Library is now offering e-books through their website. Click here for more information.  

4) Volunteers needed

Woburn Meals on Wheels urgently needs volunteer drivers to deliver meals to senior citizens. Do you have an hour a week or as little as two hours per month to lend a hand? Click here to find out how to get involved.

5) Baby boot camp

The Winchester Recreation Department, 263 Main St., Winchester, is holding a Baby Boot Camp for Winchester and Woburn mothers at 9:30 a.m. this morning. Baby Boot Camp is an innovative stroller-fitness program that helps moms regain or enhance pre-pregnancy fitness levels and meet the physical challenges of parenting by emphasizing strength training in a supportive environment.
