5T: Blood Drive, Live Music and Summer Camp Registration

Five things to know today.

Today is Tuesday, May 21. Here are five things to know:

1) Showers, cooler

Looks like a gray day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect cloudy skies and a chance of showers after 10 a.m. High temperature near 64 degrees. A chance of showers before 11 p.m. Otherwise cloudy with a low near 54 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber. The Woburn Planning Board is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Engineers Conference Room. The Woburn Sign Review Board is meeting at 6 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Board of Health Conference Room.

 

3) Summer camp registration

The After School Club is holding registration for its summer camp programs from 1 to 5:30 p.m. today. Activities include weekly field trips and daily trips to an outdoor swimming pool. Click here for more information.

 

4) Event Spotlight:

 Woburn native Greg Chalpin will be performing at the Sea Dog tonight at 6 p.m. Stop by and check out his music. We've heard him perform and think he's great!

 

5) Blood drive

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 1:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Burlington American Legion, 162 Winn St., Burlington. Do your part and donate today and give the gift of life.
