Today is Friday, March 8. Here are five things to know:

1) More snow expected

Looks like snow today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect snow showers, mainly before noon, with new accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. It will be windy with gusts as high as 34 miles per hour. High temperature today near 36 degrees. Cloudy in the early evening then gradually clearing. Overnight low around 27.

3) Celebrity Cornhole tournament

Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is holding a Celebrity Cornhole Tournament to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn and The Redzone Redman Foundation starting at 6 p.m.  Meet and play cornhole with NFL Players including Kyle Arrington of the New England Patriots,  Isaac Redman Pittsburg Steelers, Steve McClendon Pittsburg Steelers and Andrew DePaola of Tampa Bay. $50 per team to play. 4) Parents night out

Looking for a night to yourselves without the kids? Echo Enrichment Center at 9 Bedford St., Burlington is giving parents a chance to enjoy a night out. Drop the kids off starting at 6:30 p.m. for a game night. Cost is $20 per person and $10 for additional siblings. Click here for details and to RSVP.

 

5) Live entertainment

As they do every Friday, Polcari's Restaurant will have live entertainment in their lounge starting at 8:30 p.m.
