Looks like another clear day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 44 degrees. It will be windy with gusts as high as 23 miles per hour. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 23 and gusts as high as 32 mph.

Woburn Public Schools are holding a Traits of Writing Parent Presentation at 6:30 p.m. this evening at Altavesta Elementary School. According to the notice " The Woburn Elementary Schools have begun using the Six Traits model for writing instruction and assessment to improve students’ writing. Our presentation will educate you about what this model involves, what you can expect to see in your child’s work, and how it will improve your child’s writing. We will also discuss how you can assist your child’s work in an engaging and supportive manner. Come ready to examine and discuss a few pieces of student work." Click here for more information.

The Woburn Senior Center is holding a discussion "10 Car Repair Tips and 5 Mistakes to Avoid" at 10:30 a.m. this morning.

 

4) Beer Pong

Miss playing this college favorite? Here's your chance to play. Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is holding a Beer Pong Tournament tonight. Sign ups starting at 9:00 and the games will begin at 10:00. Cost is $5.

 

5) What's cooking Wednesday

Whole Foods Markets is holding a "What's Cooking Wednesday" event starting at 5 p.m. today. Cruise the aisles and check out food and cooking demonstrations in each department and taste free samples.
