5T: First Annual Spring Fling Event, Wine Tasting

Today is Friday, May 17. Here are 5 things you need to know:

1) Sunny skies

Looks like a nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 72 degrees. Windy with gusts as high as 23 miles per hour. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 46.

2) Public meeting

The Woburn School Personnel Subcommittee is meeting at 8:30 a.m. Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

3) 1st Annual Spring Fling Event

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is holding its first Annual Spring Fling Vendor Fair from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight. They will have a variety of over 20 plus vendors and there will be cash and carry items, you may place orders with a vendor or book a show if interested. There will also be raffles available for purchase and proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism Awareness. Click here for more information.

4) Wine tasting

Busa Wine & Spirits is "Something for Everyone's Palette" wine tasting from 4 to 7 p.m. All wines featured are $15.99 and under and include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Malbec.

5) Women Celebrating Business Expo

Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 6th Annual “Women Celebrating” business expo fundraiser in the ballroom of the Boston/Woburn Hilton Hotel in Woburn from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
