Today is Tuesday, April 2. Here are five things to know:

1) Mostly sunny

Looks like a nice, clear day but not as warm as the past couple of days. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 42 degrees. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 23 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber. The Woburn Library Board of Trustees is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Woburn Public Library Basement Meeting Room. The Woburn School Committee Budget Meeting is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School, Conference Room.

 

3) Blood drive

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 1:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Burlington American Legion, 162 Winn St. Do your part and donate today and give the gift of life.

 

4) Request a Quote

The Better Business Bureau has a new tool, the Request a Quote program, which is a complimentary service connecting consumers with Accredited Businesses to provide a higher level of consumer confidence. This program permits consumers to request a quote, proposal, or information from a company that meets and is committed to the BBB’s standards. Click here for more information.

 

5) Volunteers needed
