5T: Live Entertainment, a Jimmy Fund Fundraiser and Today's Weather

Today is Friday, May 3. Here are five things to know:

1) Sunny skies

Looks like a nice clear day if not quite as warm as the past couple of days. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 59 degrees. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 43.

2) Public meeting

The Woburn School Resource Subcommittee is meeting at 8 a.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

3) Live entertainment

As they do every Friday Polcari's Restaurant will have live entertainment in the lounge starting at 8:30 p.m.

4) Blog on Woburn Patch

5) Jimmy V Fund fundraiser

The Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill has partnered up with Corona to raise money for The Jimmy V Fund.  All of the Scoreboard staff are selling paper basketballs to be hung up around the restaurant.  The Jimmy V Fund is for cancer research. They will be selling the basketballs till the end of March Madness.
