5T: Medical Marijuana Discussion Tonight

1) Medical marijuana zoning

The Planning Board is scheduled to hold a public hearing on adding "medical marijuana treatment centers" to the city's zoning laws. The addition would fall under the "Retail, Commercial and Service Uses" section. Also on the agenda tonight, a special permit request by the Great Dog Rescue of New England for a kennel and pet care facilty at 34 Holton St.

2) Varsity athletics

Your Woburn Memorial High School female athletes will take center stage today in the city. The girls' gymnastics squad will compete at 4:30 p.m., while the Lady Tanners' basketball team will take on Arlington High at 7 p.m. The boys will travel to Arlington and play a game there, also at 7 p.m.

3) A mild day

According to the National Weather Service's pinpointed forecast for Woburn, it's going to be pretty mild! Expect temps in the mid-40s today and a slight wind. Although it'll get chilly overnight, we'll likely see 48 to 50 degrees on Wednesday.
