Five things to know today.

Today is Feb. 21. Here are five things to know:

1) Partly sunny, windy

 Looks like a normal New England winter day. According to the National Weather Service we can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 33 degrees. There will be a strong wind with gusts as high 28 miles per hour. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 24. Gusts tonight as high as 29 mph.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Conservation Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber - middle level of City Hall. The Woburn Handicapped and Disabled Citizens Commission is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Woburn City Hall, Engineering Conference Room, Basement Floor. The Woburn License Commission is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in Woburn City Hall, Committee Room. The Woburn Traffic Commission is meeting at 4 p.m. in Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber.

 

3) Ladies Night Out

Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is holding a Ladies Night Out from 7 p.m. to midnight tonight. Buy one entree get the second free for all ladies.  Free chocolate covered strawberries and free chair messages by Elements.  Live bands, door prizes and much more.

 

4) Thinking Cap? Check!

 Tanner Tavern's Thursday Night Trivia will start at 8 p.m. tonight. Head over to Main Street for Stump Trivia and you and your team (or just you!) can compete for prizes.
